Description
Banfi was born in Montalcino in 1978 thanks to the will of the Italian-American brothers John and Harry Mariani.
Conceived to preserve the integrity and richness of the grapes to the maximum, the cellar now makes use of the most advanced technologies, the result of revolutionary technical experimentation.
The great work carried out in vinification continues in the silence of the woods, where the great Banfi wines, mainly reds, evolve and refine their most distinctive characteristics of power, elegance and longevity over the years.
The more than 7,000 barriques, arranged in orderly rows, and the large barrels make up the heart of Banfi, which throbs in the silence and stillness of nature that surrounds the cellar.
