DON PAPA RUM FINISH PORT CL.70 CASE

Don Papa, the small batch rum that comes from the Philippines in the Port Casks edition.

Don Papa Rum with its sweet notes provided by molasses called "black gold", is aged for a total of 7 years: 2 years in American wooden barrels that contained Bourbon Whiskey that give intense spicy and vanilla notes and in 5 years in barrels of Port wine.

The final result is a new velvety and complex Rum: Don Papa Port Casks Rum.

On the nose, there are resonant and deep notes of licorice, dark chocolate and muscovado sugar; later, notes of blood oranges, ripe red berries and a subtle fresh note of vanilla pods stand out.

In the mouth it is rich and enveloping, of great complexity. Notes of toasted oak, cinnamon, Arabica coffee and caramel: wonderfully balanced by a fresh and light note of vanilla, fruit and a sprinkling of brown sugar.

Exceptionally long, persistent and dry finish, with echoes of bitter cocoa powder and hints of dried figs.
