Tenuta Campo al Mare’s Baia al Vento Bolgheri Superiore is a Tuscan red wine of great elegance and complexity. Produced primarily from Merlot grapes selected from the estate’s finest vineyards, this wine has a deep ruby red color. On the nose, it offers rich aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry jam, and subtle hints of black truffle. On the palate, it stands out for its opulent structure, velvety tannins, and remarkable persistence. Ideal paired with red meat dishes, game, and mature cheeses.

Structure, Elegance, Aromatic Richness

On the Bolgherese provincial road, in the heart of the elite production of Bolgheri wines, the Folonari family cultivates approximately 7 hectares of Merlot destined for the production of Baia al Vento.

A vineyard characterized by soils rich in minerals and iron that provide structure, elegance and aromatic richness.

The Merlot del Vallone dei Messi gives a great pleasantness to the palate as well as a consistent structure and the typical sensations of ripe red fruit that evolve and enrich with long refinements.

Complex and Important

The 2021 vintage presents itself in the glass with a purple red color; on the nose hints of ripe cherry, currant, blackberry, balsamic notes of tobacco, and chocolate. On the palate pleasantly dry, full-bodied and persistent with evident but silky tannins with a sweet tendency. Complex and important.
