Pesto alla Genovese Gaia Gaia pesto is one of the flagships of all Formec production. It is prepared according to the traditional cold-processing method, using only first and second cut basil, harvested when the stem is tender and the leaves at the height of their color and their perfume. The basil is washed, dried and mixed with the other ingredients without undergoing heat treatments which could compromise its quality and nutritional properties. The result is a pesto which retains the intense aroma of freshly picked basil and the bright green of its leaves, just like homemade pesto. Glass jar of 980 gr
