La Rochefort 6 is a top fermented Trappist beer brewed by Abbaye Notre Dame de Saint Remy St Remy à Rochefort (Belgium).

Of a dark red color typical of old Burgundy wines, the beer is clear and rests on a bed of yeast.

Its saturation is quite strong with a compact foam of medium height. Its penetrating aroma offers spicy notes and aromatic and deep yeast tones.

There is a dominant caramelized malt. Upon tasting, the beginning is frank and slightly spicy, the flavor is sweet and strong and offers a light balanced bitterness in the mouth, the bitterness is the clearest of the 3 beers of the Abbaye de Rochefort.

The body affirms its malty and fruity fullness, while some spicy and spicy tones prepare the next sip. A high quality Belgian beer, ideal for newbies or pleasure.
