Santa Teresa Rum Aged Solera 1796 Cl.70
Solera method aged rum
It was 1796 when, in Venezuela, the Count of Tovar founded the Santa Teresa hacienda, in a valley where, thanks to the favorable climatic conditions, the sugar cane plantations found great abundance. Quality and commitment did not take long to bear fruit and Ron Venezuela became an important qualitative reference symbol; the final product composed of a blend of Rum with an aging between 4 years and 35 years, this 1796 is a tribute to the founding father of the estate, a distillate of elegance and refinement, awarded by public and critics. Intense amber color with rose gold reflections, it has intense aromas of vanilla, tobacco and toffee caramel on the nose, with sweet notes of dried apricot and banana, then evolving towards cinnamon and popcorn. The rich and sweet taste, consistent in the references of honey and brown sugar, advances broad and warm throughout the palate, revealing nut, coconut and wood, in a dry, long and decidedly smoky finish, which leaves a long trail of dark chocolate.
