Don Papa Rye Aged Rum thus combines all the rich and sweet character of Filipino Rum with the magic and poetry of the American Prohibition era.

In the United States of the 1920s, in fact, most of the whiskeys produced were Rye, that is distillates based mainly on rye.

The temporal combination of American Prohibition and the sugar cane boom in the Philippines

was the perfect inspiration for Don Papa Rye Aged Rum.

The distinctive golden color of Don Papa Rye Aged Rum is the fruit of the union between the green fields of rye of the United States and the fresh Filipino sea breeze.

A mix that gives the distillate a unique taste: the sweet notes, characteristic of the raw material, the "black gold" molasses, marry in fact with

the spicy, vegetal and intense hints of aging, entirely carried out in barrels that have previously contained American Rye Whiskey.

Don Papa Rye Aged Rum brings back, on the nose, dry and spicy notes that open, on the palate, towards honey and pepper with a very

delicate and surprisingly tending towards apple. All the scent of the wood that Rye Whiskey has contained is

well perceptible and provides a slightly savory characteristic note.
