Description

Chardonnay DOC 2022 Friuli Colli Orientali The Magnolia

Olfactory Notes and Pairings

Fine olfactory framework with hints of hawthorn, golden apple and bread crust. The taste confirms elegance and good minerality. Excellent as an aperitif or combined with light hors d'oeuvres, soups, fish-based dishes. Ideal with grilled squid.

Vinification

The grapes are softly pressed after a light skin maceration of about 6 hours at 4°C. The must obtained is cold static decanted. Fermentation takes place at 16°C and the subsequent maturation "sur lies" always continues in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature with periodic battonage.

Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay

Harvest period: Second week of September Colour: Straw yellow with greenish reflections, more intense during ageing.

Alcohol content: about 13.00% vol

Serving temperature: 8°-10° C
