Blandy's 5 years Special Dry Madeira

Tasting notes

Brilliant pale topaz color with a golden tinge, fresh with hints of dried fruit, wood and citrus with a fresh, nutty lingering finish.

Blandy's 5-year sercial was aged in American oak barrels in the traditional "Canteiro" system. This includes the gentle warming of wine in Funchal's lodge lofts. Over the years the wine is transferred from the top floors to the intermediate floors and finally to the ground floor where it is cooler.
