Traversa dei Monti is the new wine signed by Banfi, a Chianti DOCG with a Montalcino soul. Totally produced with the traditional varieties of Chianti, with a strong predominance of Sangiovese, coming from the Montalcino vineyards of the estate, the heart of the traditional Chianti area, it boasts the Colli Senesi sub-area. The name of the wine, Traversa dei Monti, immediately leads us back to the road that connects Montalcino to the Maremma coast, also skirting the Banfi vineyards. Even the label is evocative of the place where the wine is born. The Traversa dei Monti, in gold foil, crosses the vineyards that give the perception of the earth to the touch, enhancing the brightness and richness of our territory. Elegant and decisive, the wine shows an intense and deep mauve red color, complex and intense aromas, aromas of ripe fruit and morello cherry accompanied by hints of dried flowers and spicy notes. Enveloping, soft and powerful, with a remarkable structure, it closes with a long and persistent finish. 75 cl glass bottle.
