Vov is an egg-based liqueur, sold since the beginning in a characteristic cylindrical bottle in white glass, which is considered an icon of the world of Italian liqueurs.
The liqueur, later called Vov (from the Venetian term "vovi", which means eggs) was created in 1845 by a pastry chef from Padua, specialized in the production of nougat,
who decided to use the remaining egg yolks, together with Marsala wine, alcohol and sugar, to start the production of a liqueur zabajone.
This liqueur releases mellow aromas of eggs, vanilla, dried fruit, raisins and caramel.
On the palate it is caressing, warm and sweet, with a long and creamy vaguely alcoholic persistence. Shake it
