AUGUSTINER BEER OKTOBERFEST CL.50

This unique Augustiner specialty is served exclusively at the Munich Oktoberfest during the celebration period and is tapped directly from wooden barrels.

Augustiner-Bräu is one of the breweries entitled to present Oktoberfest with this celebratory beer with a clear golden colour. White, fine, medium persistent foam.

Floral scents on the nose (chamomile), honey, yeast and wheat with light citrus and noble hop finishes. Moderately carbonated, it has a medium body but a watery texture that guarantees excellent drinkability.

In the mouth crust of bread and honey; it is certainly not a dry beer and the palate is always a bit "sticky" and tied to the next sip.

Towards the end of the stroke, a light bittering herbaceous note arrives; the aftertaste is malt, warmed by a slight alcoholic note.

Founded in the fourteenth century by the brothers of the Augustinian order, it is among the best known beers and above all among those that enjoy the reputation of being of superior quality.

It is no coincidence that many Oktoberfest veterans consider it the best beer at the fair.
