Coming from deep in the forests of Mount Kaikomagatake, Hukashu is a single malt with herbaceous notes and a light smoke
Produced by the Hakushu distillery, nestled in a forest at the foot of Mount Kaikomagatake in Japan.
This distillery uses the pure natural water of Ojira. Whiskey produced from a blend of several young single malts, with a peat of at least 8 years of aging and with a lot of peat of at least 18 years of aging.
It has a delicate and floral aroma with notes of green apple, honey, melon, freshly cut grass and vanilla.
In the mouth the spicy flavor emerges, of mint, citrus, pine needles and a touch of smoked.
Of good length. A niche product!
