This sensational wine from the Tuscan Castello Banfi winery is produced only in the most favorable years. The three varieties are vinified separately in combined Horizon steel and wood vats at a controlled temperature, with macerations ranging from 10 to 18 days.
After the alcoholic fermentation the wines, coming from the single varieties, are decanted into barriques where they remain separate for 12 months.
Subsequently we proceed to the blend, which continues its maturation in wood for another 8-10 months. This is followed by refinement in the bottle for 6 months.
