LA TRAPPE BLONDE TRAPPIST BEER

It is a Trappist beer produced by the Dutch monastery Onze-Lieve-Vrouw Van Koningshoeven better known as La Trappe.

Recall that Trappist beers are defined as such if produced by monks belonging to the Trappist order.

Only 12 monasteries are currently allowed to label their beers with the Authentic trappist product logo which indicates compliance with a set of rules established by the International Association of Trappists.

Returning to today's beer, it is a top-fermented lager beer.

Visual analysis:

The appearance is characterized by an intense 7-8 SRM golden yellow color, quite cloudy. The foam is instead white, very fine-grained, creamy, but not very persistent.

Olfactory analysis:

Olfactory intensity: the aromas are very intense, really pleasant and balanced between malt and hopped with a prevalence of barley malt, releasing very pleasant fruity aromas of banana. Alcohol is also felt on the nose, along with caramel in the finish.

Taste analysis:

Sparklingness: on the palate there is a medium-low sparklingness that is not too accentuated, the body is velvety and notably malty, the flavors are of caramel, biscuit and peaches in syrup, in the finish then hops emerge. Bitterness: sweet tending to sweetish.
