Champagne Brut Black Label is a tribute to Great Britain by Victor Lanson, one of the most relevant figures of the homonymous house: the color black in this case is a symbol of elegance and recalls the clear dominance in the blend of the Pinot Noir grape.
This label fully reflects the production style of the Lanson house: a blend of the classic Champagne grapes, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier from numerous crus chosen by the winemaker, with the addition of reserve wines from 10 different vintages; fermentation without malolactic fermentation and aging of at least 3 years in quarries on its lees. It is characterized by a straw yellow color with slight amber reflections. The nose plays on a full fruit, which alternates sweet and mineral notes. On the palate it is fleshy and dry but also lively, giving an important progression between citrus notes, green melon and hints of minerality.
