Description
The Kraken black color like the ink of the "sea beast"
Obtained from the fermentation of sugar cane originating from the Virgin Islands, to which a secret blend of 13 spices is added after maturation in oak wood for 12-24 months.
It has a very dark color, almost ink, and a strong spicy scent, which subsequently opens in a very soft way in the presence of ginger and a slight hint of licorice on the finish.
It is said that a ship carrying large quantities of spiced rum from Caribbean islands never reached its destination for inexplicable reasons. Among the many stories told, an attack by the Kraken is suspected, a giant octopus that lives in the ocean abysses and devours pirates and sailors. The barrels drifted into the sea and the rum was named Kraken as a tribute to the beast's unquestionable power, but no story has ever been confirmed.
