DICTADOR RUM SOLERA 12 YEARS 70CL

The Rum Dictador 12 years is a Colombian rum produced by the fermentation of pure cane juice, distilled in part with steel column stills and in part with discontinuous copper stills, an option that allows to obtain a medium-bodied rum. It is aged in oak barrels with the Solera method, a method that makes different rums 'turn' between 8 and 14 years, with a final average of 12. The rum is then diluted in the bottle with demineralized water and then left to rest for a period of 28 days. From the amber topaz color, tending to red, the nose prevails warm notes of toasted coffee beans, vanilla cream, caramel, candied fruit and honey, the latter perfume which then extends to the palate, adding to flavors of exotic fruit, coconut, wood and pepper. The soft but persistent finish, slightly woody, spicy and with flavors of chestnuts and dried fruit. Winner of a double gold in 2013 in Orlando and a gold in Moscow and Las Vegas in 2012, the 12 year old Dictador is a balanced rum with rich flavors, not at all obvious. 70 cl bottle with case
