La trappe blonde:

It has an opalescent golden color with white foam.

The nose is greeted by light sour hints that recall fruit (banana, pear and peach), citrus hints (orange), honeyed notes and light spicy hints given by the yeast used.

With a light body and good carbonation, notes of biscuit, pear, banana and spicy notes are perceived on the palate. Dry finish and slightly bitter aftertaste.

La trappe dubbel:

With a dark amber color with reddish reflections and a medium-sized and persistent beige head of foam, it radiates intense fragrances of ripe fruit (apple, cherry, banana, berries, lychee and plum), dried fruit (dates), caramel, sugar candied fruit, bread crust, toasted malt and an intoxicating spicy scent of yeast (cloves).

In the mouth where the notes perceived on the nose are substantially re-proposed, it is pleasant, structured and consistent, with a sweet flavor of malt, caramel,

notes of cherry jam and licorice. The slight bitter finish that emerges at the back of the mouth is very pleasant.

The hops are present and arrive only at the end of the stroke giving a very soft and finely dry and bitter aftertaste.
